1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Levitt Lab web application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

The Service is intended for authorized Levitt Lab participants, including students, guides, and staff. You may sign in using Google authentication made available to you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You agree to provide accurate information and to notify your guide or a site administrator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable policy or law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, security, or performance of the Service.
• Upload, transmit, or store content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as expressly permitted.

4. Educational Content and Data

The Service may display student progress, attendance, notes, and other educational information. You may use this information only for legitimate educational purposes connected to The Levitt Lab. Do not share sensitive student information outside authorized contexts.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content provided by The Levitt Lab, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including Google for authentication and PostHog for analytics. Your use of those services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Levitt Lab disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Levitt Lab and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access is no longer appropriate for program participation.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
